Financial Aid for Early Action and Regular Admission

Georgetown University admits and enrolls students without regard to their financial circumstances and is committed to meeting the demonstrated financial need of eligible students through a combination of aid programs that include grants, scholarships, employment and loans from federal, state, private, and University resources.

Financial aid at Georgetown is based on demonstrated need; we do not offer academic or merit based scholarships. To receive consideration for financial aid, students must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the CSS Profile (College Scholarship Service).

Please follow the links below sponsored by the Office of Student Financial Services to find answers to frequently asked questions and links to both the FAFSA and CSS Profile:

Financial Aid Forms

Please complete both the FAFSA and CSS Profile by February 1. Questions about completing these forms should be directed to the Office of Student Financial Services at (202)687-4547.

International Students

A very limited number of need-based scholarships is available to students who are neither US Citizens nor US permanent residents and who demonstrate financial need. Students who wish to be considered for one of these awards should indicate their intent on the Application for Undergraduate Admission and will be asked to submit an International Student Financial Aid Application. For further details, please see the Office of Student Financial Services website.
