Class Ranking
Although many high schools no longer provide a class rank for students, the admissions office estimates that 90% of accepted students would rank in the top 10 to 15 percent of their high school class.
Geographic Distribution
|
The student population at Georgetown is one of the most geographically diverse in the country, representing every state and more than 100 countries. The entering first-year class of approximately 1,580 students enrolled from more than 1,000 different high schools.

Cultural Background
|
Twenty-nine percent of this year's admitted class is from minority backgrounds, one-third of first-year students claim fluency in more than one language and nearly 30% have lived abroad at some time prior to coming to Georgetown. The wide variety of cultural backgrounds, perspectives and experiences represented at Georgetown greatly contribute to learning for all students.
