As an opportunity to experience the vibrant academic life here at Georgetown, professors in some departments have graciously made their classes available to visiting students. Classes will resume in the Fall of 2008 at which time we will post a new list of classes to visit.

If you decide to observe a class, please consider the following:

Some professors prefer to know further ahead of time when a student is visiting. Those professors have their e-mail address listed under their name. Please make sure that you e-mail these professors at least 3 days in advance

Please arrive in the classroom at least 10 minutes before a class is to begin. This allows you to make a proper introduction to the professor, who will want to let you know if it is not a good day for a visit (tests etc) as well as to make sure you get the most out of your class-session.

Also, it is requested that students remain for a FULL class session of any class they wish to attend. This avoids unnecessary class disruption.
