Application Portal

Starting an Application

If you have not yet started an application to Georgetown, use the information below to start your application.

  • There are two ways to apply to Georgetown as a first year applicant:
  • There are two deadlines for first year applications:
    • Early Action: November 1
    • Regular Decision: January 1
  • The first year application requirements are available here.

  • The only way to apply to Georgetown as a transfer applicant is through the Georgetown Transfer Application, available in mid-October.
  • The transfer application deadline is March 1.
  • The transfer application requirements are available here.

  • An application to the Visiting Student Program can be submitted through the Visiting Student Application . 
  • The deadlines for the Visiting Student Program are:
    • For the Fall Semester: July 15
    • For the Spring Semester: November 15

Accessing the Application Portal

After submitting your application to the University, you can login to the Application Portal in order to monitor the status of your application and submit updates to the Admissions Committee.
