The Office of Undergraduate Admissions encourages you to learn more about the admissions process by exploring the information provided on our website. Currently, you are able to apply as an undergraduate student in three different ways: as a first-year applicant, a transfer applicant, or a visiting student. We encourage you to learn more about the admissions process by exploring the information. International applicants follow the same admissions procedures and use the same application as all other applicants to the university.

Here you’ll find details about each application pathway, how they differ, and tips to help you choose the option that best matches your needs and preferences.

Regardless of which path you choose, both applications have the same deadlines, questions, and essays. You only need to submit one application. If you start your application through the Common App, A Georgetown Admissions Account will be automatically created for you once you submit your application. At this point in time, transfer students can only apply through their own application.
