We hope you are able to convey your talents and extracurricular activities in your application. However, those with an exemplary talent in the performing arts that they wish to pursue on campus are able to submit an additional supplement to their application. All performing arts materials are reviewed by the Department of Performing Arts and therefore we cannot confirm receipt.

If you have talent that you would like to be evaluated along with your application please find specific instructions on the Performing Arts website.

Georgetown requires one counselor and one teacher recommendation letter. You are also welcome to have an optional second teacher recommendation letter submitted as part of your application. Specific guidelines are provided in the “Counselor and Teacher Recommendations” section of Application Requirements and Forms webpage.

Georgetown will accept additional recommendations outside of those from your teachers or counselor. While there is no official limit on these recommendations, we ask that you consider whether each letter will add a different perspective to your application. Please use this Additional Letters of Recommendation Form to make your additional request(s).

Electronic submission of materials is strongly preferred. If mailing is the only option, we can accept mailed materials, but please plan for increased processing time.
