Capitol Campus Programs
Transfer students will find exceptional opportunities at Georgetown University. In addition to the programs for transfer students offered at our Hilltop campus, Georgetown now has exciting options available at our Capitol Campus, located in the heart of Washington, DC. The Capitol Campus offers two distinct undergraduate pathways designed to launch students into meaningful action as changemakers.
At the Capitol Campus, our students are immersed in an environment where global issues become real-world solutions. They work alongside scholars, policymakers, and thinkers across disciplines to engage with the most pressing challenges of our time.
Two Pathways to Drive Change
Georgetown University offers two joint-degree programs at the Capitol Campus. Transfer students admitted into these programs will spend their junior and senior years at the Capitol Campus and participate fully in the unique intellectual environment there.
Public Policy (B.A.)
Offered as a joint degree between the McCourt School of Public Policy and the College of Arts & Sciences, the Public Policy program is designed for students who aspire to shape public decision-making and influence policy outcomes. Students develop the analytical, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills necessary to assess complex issues, ask incisive questions, and translate evidence-based insights into meaningful action.
